Day One

Upon your arrival at Juan Santa Maria International Airport in San Jose, you will be taken by your personal driver to your hotel in central San Jose. Your hotel has a great casino facility, beautiful pool and ambient bar. Also, you will be treated to a great dinner as the perfect start to your stay in Costa Rica!

Day Two

Your X-treme Adventure starts today as you will be picked up by your driver and taken to the area of Orosi where you will meet up with your very own tour guide for a full day of mountain biking. Along the way you will stop and enjoy a picnic lunch on one of the many ridges and take in the breathtaking views. This is a wonderful area for biking with both hills and flatlands. The path taken will vary according to your biking ability.

Day Three

Get ready for the rush of a lifetime! We will take you to Pacuare River, where you will experience the excitement of class III and IV rapids* on Costa Rica’s longest and most spectacular river. Pacuare is rated in the top ten rivers in the world for rafting. This is a three day adventure where you will spend your nights at a rustic lodge. All of your meals are included during this expedition.

*A professional guide will accompany every group to ensure that proper techniques are used and that everyone remains safe at all times.

Day Four

Feel what it is like to be one with nature when you wake up at your incredibly secluded lodge along the Pacuare River. Be prepared for a day filled with adventure and activities. Rappelling, tight rope, swimming, and a night hike in the jungle are ways you can spend your day, or you can choose to just relax in your hammock to rest for your next day of rafting.

Day Five

Start your day by finishing the last 10 miles of your 20 miles run down the Pacuare River. After your descent and a light lunch, your personal driver will bring you to the town of La Fortuna, home to Arenal, one of the most impressive and active volcanoes in the world. You will enjoy a well deserved night of relaxation in the natural hot springs of Arenal Volcano. A first class buffet dinner awaits you there.

Day Six

Your last day in La Fortuna is reserved for you to experience one of Costa Rica’s most famous activities, the Canopy adventure. Enjoy a horseback ride to your location and feel the rush of descending zip lines at heights of over one hundred feet throughout the forest. The rest of the day is free for you to take in the sights and sounds of Arenal volcano.

Day Seven

Your hotel shuttle service will pick you up at 2:30pm in your hotel lobby which gives you the chance to enjoy a wonderful breakfast and possibly take one last dip inside the hot springs before leaving. Then it is off to Heredia, known to Costa Ricans as the city of flowers. You will be staying about half an hour away from the airport to avoid extra early wakeups or stress in the morning on the way to the airport.

Day Eight

Your private pickup time from the hotel will depend on the departure time for your flight. Most flights leave Costa Rica in the early morning or afternoon and ask for passengers to arrive at least three hours in advance.
